Welcome to Pearson Pre-School

Ofsted 'Good' ('with many elements of 'Outstanding.')

Pearson Pre-School provides high quality childcare and education in a warm, friendly, safe and happy environment in a rural location close to the sea.

Located in a purpose built, state-of-the-art building within but independent from All Saints Primary School, Learning Academy Partnership Thurlestone, we share close links with All Saints Primary School. Together, we have created a Partnership Foundation Stage Unit where the preschool and Reception class children share Literacy, P.E and educational experiences and activities.  By working together we provide our children with a smooth and seamless transition from Pre-School to Primary School.

Lottery funding has helped us to provide  bespoke natural wood furnishings. The space provides our children with an inclusive and engaging learning environment that reflects a sense of home and tranquility.

Our team of Early Years Practitioners provide children with the most important foundational education.

We appreciate that choosing a pre-school for your child is an important decision and we would welcome you to come and see for yourself what Pearson Pre-School can offer you and your child. We hold 'Open afternoons' for prospective families to visit every Thursday between 1.30 and 3.15pm (Term time only.)
Please feel free to contact us on 01548 560816 and ask to speak to Linda Quinn.

"pausing to listen to an air plane in the sky, stooping to watch a ladybug on a plant, sitting on a rock to watch the waves crash over the quay side - children have their own agendas and time scales. As they find out more about their world and their place in it; they work hard not to let adults hurry them. We need to hear their voices.''
Professor Cathy Nutbrown, Contemporary British Educational Theorist
